Weekend Snippets

--Out on the town with Meg on Friday night to witness the Junior Repertory Company teenagers dance their hearts out on stage. A mix of teen angst, young talent, and all genres of dance.

--Ran the Spring Runoff 5k in Wilson with Dre. Felt great to work the legs and lungs and be amongst a group of runners. More of this to come, for sure....

--Visited with Carolyn and Gwen and Jen and Ethan on Saturday afternoon...A relaxing time of mama's and babies. Love it.

--Mother's Day! My first and it felt so special. Jamie and Sam got me a new plant and a sweet card and Jamie made some yummy meals....A hike in the summer-like sunshine and warmth to the top of Josie's Ridge. Sweaty and happy and content to sit in the sunshine. Sam's first ride in the backpack, stimulated on the way up and conked out on the way down.

--A sliver moon amongst a sky of pink and purple clouds. A beautiful evening to close a wonderfully fulfilling and rich weekend.
